Oxfordshire County Council Social & Community Services
CPU 523 – THE PROVISION OF SUPPORT BROKERAGE
Oxfordshire County Council is seeking to award Service contracts for the provision of Support Brokerage to be delivered across Oxfordshire from October 2010.
A Learning Exercise has been underway in Oxfordshire since December 2008 to develop Self-Directed Support. As part of this exercise, Service Users have been offered Support Brokers to help them produce a Support Plan to buy or arrange services, thus enabling them to have a greater choice and control over the support they require to go about their daily life. As part of the first stage of brokerage development, a range of Spot Contracts were let in 2008, and have been extended into 2010. The Council now wishes to proceed to the second phase of its brokerage development, with new Block Contracts being awarded from June 2010.
These contracts are designed to provide a minimum of 22,000 hours of Support Brokerage per year with the possibility of this increasing to a maximum of 58,000 hours per year.
The Contracts will be for an initial period of 3 years, with options to extend for up to 3 additional years.
If your organisation is interested in being considered for delivering these services then Expressions of Interest should be made to:
