EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST EXTRA CARE HOUSING – 24 HOUR, 7 DAYS A WEEK ON-SITE DOMICILIARY CARE SERVICE - CUMBRIA

Cumbria County Council wishes to commission a 24 hours, 7 days a week domiciliary care service within a 41 unit new build extra care housing scheme in Barrow-in-Furness, Cumbria. Initially, the scheme will support up to 28 tenancies for people aged 55 years or older who have been assessed as meeting the Fair Access to care eligibility criteria. The scheme, developed in partnership between Accent Group, Barrow Borough Council and Cumbria County Council is expected to be commissioned by July/August 2010.
